Originating from the San Juan Islands and Alaska, Marina Leight has been making clothing since she was a child, and has been making custom pieces for 25 years.

At the beginning of her career, she received training under a Savile Row tailor, and then invited to apprentice couture in Italy.
After 3 years designing out of Rome and Florence, Marina returned to the states to launch a design agency, factory, and custom atelier.

After 10 successful years she decided to close her doors to focus on her family and is now launching her own label, Marina Leight Atelier.

In addition to her namesake brand, Leight has recently relaunched a zero-waste atelier of the same name, where she also teaches her craft to children and young adults.
All unused fabric scraps are made into animal beds and donated to the local rescues.
